In the morning, leave Cairo for Alexandria. On arrival start your sightseeing tour of Alexandria visiting some of the main sights: the Catacombs of Kom es-Shoqafa, the Roman Theatre, the Pillar of Pompey and the Citadel of Qaitbay. Have a late lunch at a local restaurant then proceed to hotel to check-in. Evening is at leisure to explore more of the city on your own.

After breakfast, proceed for your morning tour when you will visit the city's iconic library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina). It was constructed within the ruins of the old library originally built by Alexander the Great. The library is a stunning feat of architecture and design. Visit the Antiquities Museum and see some of the Roman and Greek monuments which were discovered under the sea close to the library. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant then return to Cairo.
